In a spirit of unity, 100% of delegates voted to continue to select the theme of action in 2018 of the city: “Strengthening the discipline of revenue and expenditure – improving the investment environment, business” .
The theme of 2018 and 19 major socio-economic development indicators are drafted with the following indicators: GRDP growth has increased from 15%; Industrial production index (IIP) increased by 22%; Export turnover will increase 22 to 23% … compared to 2017. Domestic budget revenue 23,650 billion; cargo throughput reached 107 million tons; attracting about 7.5 million tourists; New urban construction reached an average of 17 to 17.5 criteria; creating jobs for about 54,500 workers; The percentage of population participating in health insurance reaches 84.5%; The rate of poor households is reduced by 0.65%.
On the project “reviewing, adjusting and supplementing the master plan for socio-economic development of Hai Phong city up to 2025 with orientation to 2030”. Le Van Thanh – Secretary of Haiphong Party Committee affirmed that this is a big plan with a long-term goal of reviewing, adjusting and supplementing regulations.
